A well known and highly respected talent in the Australian music industry Lindsay is recognised not only for his skills as a vocalist and musician but has also established a strong reputation as an inspirational vocal coach, arranger, musical director and executive producer. In addition Lindsay’s speaking voice, which was immediately described as liquid chocolate, has been gracing the airwaves in response to the growing demand for his skills as a voice over artist.

His much anticipated debut album to be released on April 7 is a result of a special initiative by MYER to support the work of the National Breast Cancer Foundation through the release of Mother Love, a special Mother’s Day CD. Lindsay says of the CD: ‘I am extremely proud of the CD and to be able to contribute to the vital work of the National Breast Cancer Foundation. It is a cause particularly close to my heart as my own mother has had breast cancer twice. The disease has a devastating impact on families and the sooner a cure and cause is found the better.’ Lindsay’s vocal performances are supported by some of the finest musicians in the country, all highly respected members of the Farnham band, with the additional finesse on several tracks of Sam See and Glyn Mason.

A long time member of the John Farnham Band, he has also toured with such artists as Olivia Newton-John, Jimmy Barnes, Glenn Shorrock, Renee Geyer and Brian Cadd as well as working as a solo artist on TV shows including Hey Hey It’s Saturday, The Late Show, Good Morning Australian, Midday etc. Lindsay was also a member of The Don’t Forget Your Toothbrush Orchestra, The IMT Band and The Logies Orchestra.

Lindsay was Executive Producer, for the tenth time, of the year 2003 Myer & Grace Bros ‘Spirit of Christmas’ charity CD. This project has so far raised more than $5 million for the Salvation Army and The Starlight Foundation.

Lindsay was responsible for the original music production of the highly successful Still Call Australia Home, commercial launched in the mid ’90’s for Qantas, and was the music coordinator for the Farmhand Benefit Concert and musical director for the Rwanda Benefit Concert.

His theatrical credits begin with the lead role of ‘Claude’ in the original Australian production of HAIR. He was musical director for the 1992 production of HAIR, vocal coach and Priest in the 1993 concert production of Jesus Christ Superstar and vocal arranger and coach for the ’93 Black Swan Theatre production of the Australian musical Bran Nue Dae. He was vocal arranger and performed on the 1998 Australian tour of the All You Need is Beatles Orchestral Concerts with Sir George Martin. Lindsay was a member of the Tour of Duty concert party that entertained the troops in Dili, in December 1999. In 2000, Lindsay worked on the recording of Farnham’s highly successful 33 1/3 CD which featured his soulful harmonies. He completed John Farnham’s Man of the Hour tour before beginning the year 2001 with Olivia Newton-John in Singapore. 2002 saw the completion of the new Farnham CD, the beginning of an extensive national tour with Farnham, The Last Time, which finished in Melbourne in June 2003.

Lindsay continues to work as vocal coach to some of Australia’s newest talent starring in local productions and in London’s West End. Long regarded as one of the country’s finest session singers Lindsay spends much of his time working in the studio with many other successful Australian artists and fulfilling national and international touring commitments.
